Look What We Have Planned
| TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) Achievers will participate in activities that focus on team building and group dynamics. Everyone will have an opportunity this week to be a leader and learn skills for accomplishing more when you work as a group to complete a task. |
| My Special Place on Earth Achievers will learn about their own communities and what makes them special places to live. They will take field trips to some of the special places in their communities and learn about industries, products that are made or harvested, and cultural happenings. |
| Hip Hip Hooray for the USA Happy Birthday America! (July 4th week) Achievers will celebrate our country’s 236th birthday with parades, crafts and stories of Americans who made this country great. We’ll even play games from the past! |
| Amazing Animal Antics Animals can be really funny creatures—Achievers will explore the comedic, unusual habits of some species of the animal world. You may learn of an animal that you have never heard of! It’s going to be a “zoo” this week! |
| African Rhythms Achievers will learn about, make, and play their own African drums as well as learning and performing dances. The art and geography of Africa, a magnificent and sometimes mysterious continent, will also capture our attention this week. We’ll make relief maps and perhaps learn some of the over 50 countries of Africa. |
| Field, Factory, Store, and More Achievers will learn about consumer goods from their beginnings (farms and factories) to their ends (our homes). Achievers will learn what kinds of goods are manufactured in their local communities and also learn where their favorite clothes, foods and playthings come from. |
| Splash Achievers will have lots of fun with water and learn about this precious resource and how they can be conservationists. Water covers 70% of the earth’s surface, but only 2.5% of it is fresh! |
| Silly, Senseless Sports Laugh it up trying to complete the silliest sports around. There’s no way to look cool this week. Funny bone is required to compete. Achievers will try out their physical and problem solving skills in a ton of fun games and relays this week. There will be lots of challenges and opportunities to practice good sportsmanship. |
| Imaginarium Achievers will engage in activities that will stimulate and cultivate the imagination in a variety of areas: scientific, artistic, and recreational. We can’t wait to see what “imaginational” things our achievers create this week! |
| Culinary Curiosities Achievers will have an opportunity this week to learn about culinary arts and compete to be Top Chef! Achievers will visit a restaurant this week to get a behind the scenes look at what goes on in the kitchen. |
| Achievers Have Talent Achievers will have an opportunity this week to plan their own version of a popular TV show that showcases their talent! They will plan their own costumes, props, and performances; and at the end of the week, the show must go on! Bravo! |
Childcare Network is committed to keeping your child safe each and every day!
Here are a few of the features of our transportation program that ensure your child’s safety:
• Childcare Network exclusively uses multi function school activity buses (MFSAB), the safest form of student transportation available.
• All drivers complete a comprehensive training program prior to assuming their driving responsibilities.
• Each bus is equipped with child scan which requires the driver to walk to the back of the bus after each trip. Child scan helps ensure that all children properly exit the bus.
